Warren Buffet, the billionaire investor, who has used capitalism to make his billions through being rejected from business schools in his youth, being told he would never accomplish his pursuits, and really saying to everyone that a man with determination can make it in the big town, came out this week to say that the rich should not "be coddled" by tax breaks. Watching Fox News, you can see him now labeled as a socialist. Really? The epitome of a capitalist, speaking the truth, the rich can afford to reduce their tax breaks and pay higher taxes. Oh no, cries those who stand to lose a small percentage of their net worth.
Its absolutely absurd, the rich, Fox News, and all of these so called Tea Party candidates (Michele Bachman, Rick Perry, Sarah Palin, etc) say the POOR should pay MORE. Its like asking a kid in a wheel chair to run faster, and then making fun of him for losing to Usain Bolt. Yes it may be true that these 51% of Americans pay little to no taxes. Also consider they merely live on their $22,000 average salary each year, providing for a family of four or more. I am sure, taking at least half of that would start to make the rich feel better. I mean, when you earn $22,000, 11,000 of that is easy to give away right...? Oh but ask a guy on Wall-Street that has aided in the financial corruption of our modern economic times to give $11,000 more in taxes from his million dollar salary, yea, that loss will cost him a new suit. So sad. Does that seem fair?
Further more, Palin and these insane candidates like Bachman/Perry want to end the National Endowment for the Arts. Please, consider giving up a new pair of Armani khakis before you dwell in ruining the lives of millions of young, poor, disadvantaged generations. Spend a day in their lives, then tell me who should pay more.
